[가정폭력에 대한 사회적 인식개선을 위한 '보라데이' 캠페인]
 " 당신의 관심이 가정폭력을 멈춥니다"

‘ 사천YWCA 가정폭력·성폭력통합상담소에서는 20년 10월 14일 수요일 사천읍 시장에서 보라데이 캠페인을 펼쳤습니다.

 이번 캠페인은 ▲사천시아동여성안전지역연대 위드유지킴이단 ▲사천YWCA가정폭력·성폭력통합상담소 등 30여 명이 참여한 가운데 가정폭력과 아동학대의 심각성을 사천시민들에게 전달하였습니다.

보라데이라는 말을 들어보신 적이 있으신가요?
보라데이란 여성가족부에서 가정폭력에 대한 사회적 인식개선을 위해 2014년 8월부터 매월 8일을 가정폭력 예방의 날로 지정하고 가정폭력 및 아동학대 예방캠페인을 진행하고 있습니다.

보라데이의 ’보라‘는 주변에 관심을 갖고 적극적인 시선으로 바라’보라’라는 뜻을 가지고 있으며 또한 보라색이라는 색깔을 의미하기도 하는데요. 바로 폭력 피해자들의 멍 자국을 뜻하는 보라색을 표현한 것이기도 합니다.

매월 보라데이가 8일인 이유는
8일 180도 회전해서 보면 O 두 개가 겹쳐져 ∞의 망원경 모양으로 보이죠?
실제로 보라데이를 8일로 정한 이유도 두 눈을 크게 뜨고, 관심을 가지고 자세히 주변을 살펴보라는 의미입니다.

앞으로도 사천YWCA가정폭력·성폭력통합상담소에서는 지속적인 캠페인을 통해 가정폭력 및 아동학대 예방 활동을 펼쳐나갈 계획입니다.

["Boraday" Campaign to Improve Social Perception of Domestic Violence]
 " Your interest stops domestic violence"
 'The Sacheon YWCA Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence Counseling Center held a Boraday campaign around Sacheon-eup on Wednesday, October 14, 20th.

This campaign delivered the seriousness of domestic violence and for prevent child abuse to Sacheon citizens through the campaign, with more than 30 people participating, including, Sacheon City child and woman's Regional Solidarity, YWCA Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence Integrated Counseling Center.

Have you ever heard of Boraday?
 In order to improve social awareness of domestic violence, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family has designated the 8th day of every month as a day for the prevention of domestic violence since August 2014 and has conducted a campaign for the prevention of domestic violence and child abuse.

Boraday's 'Bora' means ‘take a look’ pay attention to people around you and look at them actively. It also means purple. It also expresses purple, which means bruises on victims of violence.

The reason why Bora Day is 8th every month is because
 If you turn 180 degrees on the 8th, two O's overlap, so it looks like a telescope.
 In fact, the reason why we chose Boraday as the 8th is to open our eyes wide and take a closer look around.
